## What it does (3 jobs)
1. **Answers** — every call gets the business's own greeting, 24/7. When lines are busy or it's after hours, callers are never sent to voicemail first.
2. **Books** — captures name, phone, service needed, and preferred time; checks the business's calendar; offers 2–3 real slots; confirms and repeats the summary back so nothing gets lost.
3. **Follows up** — missed callers get a text within minutes with a way to book; confirmed appointments get one polite reminder. No-show chasing stays manual (the owner's call).

## Call script outline (what the caller hears)
1. **Greeting** — "Thanks for calling [Business Name], this is [Business Name]'s receptionist — how can I help?"
2. **Capture** — name, phone number, service needed, preferred day/time
3. **Book** — offer 2–3 calendar slots from the business's real calendar; confirm; repeat the summary back
4. **Fallback** — caller not ready to book? Capture their number, commit to a callback, or transfer to the owner
5. **After hours** — same path; if no slot fits, capture + commit a callback — never a dead voicemail

The exact script is written per lead in the Builder brief (`brief-<rank>-<BusinessSlug>.md`), from that business's **real services only** — the receptionist never offers a service the business doesn't actually provide, and never quotes an invented price (pricing goes as "to be confirmed by [Owner]" unless the business's real prices are public).
